History - Types of Gov't and Religion

I thought I would share a quick/easy lesson idea that my did for history.

These are construction pages folded in half and cut matchbook style.
Then glued onto a piece of cardboard.
Each flap has a name of a type of gov't (democracy, dictatorship).

Under each flap is the definition.
Kids (even 12 year olds) love folding paper and doing lapbook type work.

I would think that if you have the time or creative kids you could add
pictures of countries that have that type of gov't or religion.

Sometimes the simplest things can become great lessons and help children remember things.
